Arden Engineering Constructors and Unique Metal Works are currently working with Commodore Builders on the new Dennis-Yarmouth Middle School located in Cape Cod. The school has two levels and includes four buildings with connecting corridors to accommodate 940 students in grades fourth through seventh. The new school is planning to open in the fall of 2023.
Arden Engineering is working on the HVAC / Mechanical scope, and Unique Metal Works is providing the ductwork. Ongoing installation of hydronic heating and cooling piping is being installed for dual temperature radiant panels throughout the building. Three-way and six-way control valves will regulate water flow to the radiant panels. Unique’s fabricated ductwork is being installed to provide supply and return air. Over the next couple of months, the focus will be on building out the mechanical room and setting up 15 rooftop make-up air units.
