
Arden Engineering Constructors is pleased to announce they were awarded the plumbing contract for the new B.M.C. Durfee High School in Fall River, Massachusetts. The new school will replace the existing building and will be a three-story, 501,330,000 square foot building that will accommodate 2,570 students in grades 9 through 12. The project is currently underway.

Arden’s work consists of installation of sanitary waste and vent systems, storm drainage, potable cold and hot water, lab waste, acid neutralization systems, gas systems and plumbing fixtures. A total of three kitchens will be installed to serve students, as well as provide training areas for culinary classes. Additionally, Arden will install water heaters and an array of booster, sump, re-circulation pumps, and an aquaponic system for combined plant and fish growth.

Arden will utilize their fabrication shop to create finished bathroom piping systems ready for installation. In addition, overhead and in-wall piping will be fabricated using cast iron, copper, and polypropylene pipe and fittings. Arden’s fabrication streamlines productivity and provides project cost efficiency and greater quality control.
