Project Overview

New construction for a state-of-the-art pharmaceutical manufacturing facility and tank farm. The two-story facility is approximately 235,000 sqft on a 12-acre site. The project was divided into eight sectors within two phases. Phase one included the support building, and phase two was for the production building.

A modular central utility plant was created off-site and transported in sections for rigging, assembly, and installation. This included – chillers (6), boilers (2), pumps (12), cell cooling towers (3), and associated piping.

Plumbing entailed a lab hot water skid, water main service for the entire plant, multiple emergency eyewash stations, showers, bathroom facilities, and roof drainage systems.

HVAC included the installation of customer air handler units (11), humidified steam generator and system, air conditioning units, chilled water, heating hot water, plant steam, fan coil units, and reheat coils.

Lab services included the partial install of nitrogen, purified water, argon, vacuum line, airline, vacuum system, purified water system, plant air system, and acid waste piping.

Snowmelt system for tank farm.

Building Controls (Earthwise Energy Technologies) included the development of a remote graphical user interface, integration to the boiler control system, alarming and trending, combustion air control, leak detection, and emergency shutdown.

Sheetmetal (Unique Metal Works) included the installation of louver, exhaust fan, and all related ductwork.
