Project Overview

The new Worcester Recovery Center & Hospital houses 320 beds. The building’s design features patient community integration through house, neighborhood, and downtown concepts. The project also included the abatement and demolition of 15 buildings, as well as the construction of a new boiler plant and other ancillary buildings, to support the adjacent Department of Mental Health and University of Massachusetts research facilities.
