Arden Building acquires Corporate Mechanical in Mass.

Pawtucket, RI – Arden Building Companies has purchased Corporate Mechanical Inc. of Tewksbury, Mass. The acquisition will allow Arden to provide customized mechanical and electrical design, construction and HVAC building services to a growing customer base. Corporate Mechanical, a mechanical contracting firm, will enhance Arden Building Company’s ability to serve commercial, industrial and higher education markets in the Boston area.

Michael Mahoney, who will lead Corporate Mechanical as president after the acquisition, said, “The purchase of Corporate Mechanical by Arden Building Companies enhances our ability to grow and broaden our range of opportunities and offer more comprehensive mechanical services to our customers. Corporate Mechanical has been owned and operated by Michael and Margaret Mahoney since 2000. Corporate Mechanical’s projects include: Modern Theatre in Boston; Fidelity Investments in Merrimack, N.H; along with 285 Columbus Ave. and 360 Newbury St., in Boston.

Arden Building Companies retained all current management and office personnel, as well as the office location, during this acquisition. Corporate Mechanical will continue to offer the same mechanical construction and service as an Arden Building subsidiary.
